There is nothing to recommend this, unfortunately with this download I could not even use it for toilet paper.
Excellent book. A good read for those that enjoy history.
You don't need to wade through a bunch of dates, timelines and boring facts - this book gives you a concise easy to understand of each President.
So much information you don't find in bios but of course I try to remember it all but so much information. I have been studying the President so this was very informative to me. I enjoyed it very much.
This was a quick read, touched on all the presidencies up to Obama, seemed fairly unbiased until the FDR administration, then you knew where the Author was coming from, He's a big fan of Regan, even going as far as calling him "Ronnie". Gave Iran Contra a fly over, then every following administration was put to the Regan Litmus test.
When Warren G. Harding is thought of as one of our greatest Presidents you have to wonder about this book. I found the accounts excessively biased toward libertarian views on economics . I would NOT recommendthis piece of propaganda to any serious scholar.
The author is very knowledgeable about his subject matter and it is a good read. However, the version is somewhat below average in its editing. It's published with misspellings, faulty sentence structure, and wrong word usage (except for accept). I thought at first it was self-published. I am told that the print version doesn't contain these issues? I really enjoyed the book and would recommend it, but was distracted by the other imperfections.
