Very inspiring and motivating book on the Word! Left me with a hunger to engage more in the Word. The testimony of those in a closed country being challenged to read the Bible through 100 times, and actually doing it, calls into question my own priorities. It's a long journey, but daily decisions are key. This book is easy to engage and read, as well as having some really good on-ramp's (suggested applications) for putting into practice the various themes shared. Also sobering in that the author mentions his view that the greatest injustice is Bible poverty, those not having the Bible in their own language. Worth the minimal investment and time to read.Product details

It was a short, concise but complete book. I agree with all what it sats here in this book, and it has many brilliant ideas! I strongly recommend this book to new Christian as well as seasoned ones.
This book was definitely very impactful in a practical way. He gives you easy ways to understand The Bible and how to read it to get the most out of it. It is a great foundation for any future Bible studies you would ever do.
I LOVE this book. Finally a guide with very practical ways to study the Bible. Daniel presents 10 different ways to seriously study God's word. I especially like the chapter on Meditation! The chapters are consise and not bogged down with solutions that are out of reach for the layman. It seems like some authors only promote solutions that a monk would have time to pursue - not this book. It is bite sized and fun too. What I really like are Daniel's stories. I learn best with personal stories and how the author applied their recommendations in their own life. Daniel does that with refreshing transparency. Also included in each chapter is a short teaching. This too was clear and brought contextual meaning. I did have to look up a few words in the dictionary-). This is very well done and I will be using this book for gifts to my friends & family.
This book was beyond encouraging. I get used to doing devotion time my normal way and don't realize (or I just forget) that God's a lot more fun and creative than I am. If you feel a little bit bored or limited, or like you've gone as far as you can with a passage of scripture, the 10 different ways to interact with the Bible that the author points out will probably surprise you out of the boredom. I gasped a few times at his stories, and got excited about what would happen inside me when I did these. Take one passage of the Bible and spend 10 days doing the 10 angles (singing it, painting or writing it out, living it, meditating on it, etc.) -- it's like the difference between a one-angle photo and those 360-degree panoramas. The book is really straightforward, with short chapters and handy suggestions at the end of each. Highly recommended for new Christians just learning what it means to interact with God through the Bible, and for mature Christians who can feel like everything has gotten routine.
